In addition to his vast resume of accomplishments, he goes down in history as the first person to raise the Jamaican flag in New York in the late 1990’s. Our very candid interview lasted almost two hours discussing some of the most riveting topics on the minds of every Jamaican, such as crime, deportees, proposed ID system, etc. Much respect to the former Mayor for stopping by our studio.

A court in The Hague has told the Dutch government that an overnight curfew to reduce the spread of coronavirus should be lifted, ruling that it breaches the right to free movement.
The court said the 21:00 to 04:30 curfew was imposed by an emergency law when there was no "acute emergency".
Later, a higher court ruled that the curfew could stay in place pending an appeal on Friday.
MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) — The 64-year-old father of rapper Nicki Minaj has died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in New York, police said.
Robert Maraj was walking along a road in Mineola on Long Island at 6:15 p.m. Friday when he was hit by a car that kept going, Nassau County police said. Maraj was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead Saturday.
